Once you’ve selected your above ground pool kit or related products and completed your checkout using the secure Backyard Masters website, you’ll receive an email confirming your purchase. This confirmation will include your order details, shipment tracking information, an estimated delivery window, and important contact details for customer support.

A representative from the freight carrier will reach out to you to arrange a delivery time for your new above ground pool. Be sure to have your calendar ready so you can discuss available time slots for the delivery the delivery. If you choose to have the delivery without being present, you will assume responsibility for any damaged or missing items, as there will be no recourse or returns available in this case. If you are unable to accept the delivery at the scheduled time, please note that additional charges may apply for redelivery and storage.
- Shipment Arrival: Above ground pool kits or other H.I.I.-manufactured products will be delivered by FedEx® or semi-trailer, with items securely placed on a wooden skid and wrapped in red plastic shrink wrap.
- Shrink Wrap Inspection: Before accepting your delivery, ensure the red shrink wrap is completely intact. If it is torn or missing or if there is damage of any kind, make a detailed note on the Bill of Lading.
- Box Inspection: Remove the shrink wrap and inspect for any opened or damaged boxes. Record any visible damage on the Bill of Lading and take photos for documentation.
- Item Count: Verify that the number of pieces delivered matches the count listed on the shipping order consists-of list attached to the outside of the shrink wrap. If there are discrepancies, adjust the count on the Bill of Lading accordingly.
- Assembly Pack Box: Find the box labeled Assembly Pack and review the enclosed above ground pool breakdown list to confirm all parts are present. Write the inspection number that is on the outside of each box. Do not throw your boxes away until after pool installation is complete.
- Damage or Missing Item Reporting: If you discover any damage to the products or missing components, contact Backyard Masters immediately at Info@backyard-masters.com.
- Paperwork: Finalize any notes on the delivery paperwork and make a copy or take a picture of the paperwork for your records. Please note that there cannot be any claims made on paperwork that is signed “free and clear” of damaged or missing items. You will assume all liability for your delivery once the paperwork is signed.
